This job involves planning; scheduling and executing production plans to meet customer deliveries. Review, created and release MRP generated messages including work orders to be manufactured, and pick slips to be pulled and shipped. Create work orders for needed parts or ordering parts through purchasing. Coordinate with various departments including Marketing, Engineering, Purchasing and Manufacturing to ensure customer delivery’s are met. Quote delivery dates for the MRP parts and items and ensure BoM’s and Routing are in the systems for execution. Assist the Master Scheduler as required.
§ Provide direction to production supervisors concerning the workflow through the manufacturing plant.
§ On time delivery.
§ Processing MRP Messages
§ Quoting valid delivery dates.
§ Reviewing, creating and releasing orders to meet customer deliveries.
§ Ensuring dates are in line with incoming work orders or purchase orders.
§ Monitor and evaluate proper inventory levels
§ Develop and enter Routings on MRP items as required.

Required Qualifications :
Previous assembly experience required. Assembly in production and technology environment preferred.
Must have held a management/supervisor position in a similar capacity; OR have management skills to make decisions and convey them to the team clearly and precisely.
Computer skills required: Windows OS, Excel, Word, Outlook.
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to present effective information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and employees of the company.
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Working MRP Knowledge
Microsoft Office Applications Experience (i.e.: Excel, Word, etc.)
Understanding of Interdepartmental Interactions.
Ability to track individual direct reports for production.
Experience in Oracle preferred.
Bachelors Degree with five to eight years of planning experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
