Position Description:

Position summary

The jobs primary purpose is to improve the efficiency of the QA Department, to perform clerical functions assigned by the Quality Manager and to assist other Departments as time allows. This position is in the QA Department, Scoresby.

Principal accountabilities

The jobs essential or most important activities is to ensure that the administrative activities, logging of material certificates into the system, the preparation of Control Valve Test Certificates, NDT Reports, compilation of and filing of records, the preparation of Quality Certification Dossiers, and tabulation of data occur in a timely fashion. Thus enabling the dispatch of equipment in accordance with planed objectives.

Position Requirements:

Education and or experience

VCE or equivalent essential or 6-12 months related experience and or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Skills

Knowledge of computer programs such as word, Excel, and PowerPoint is desirable. Good telephone skills and ability to deal with people, sometimes in stressful situations. Typing skills, filling knowledge spelling and grammar skills. Should be well organized and able to follow through without constant supervision.


Previous work in a similar environment.
