Position Description:


This Senior Compensation Analyst, reporting to the Global Total Rewards Manager, will be responsible for assisting with the design, development, and management of base compensation structures, short and long-term variable compensation, and sales incentive compensation for our global operations. This includes senior analytical support and financial modeling of program design and effectiveness. This role will also participate in the design, and analysis of total rewards programs.


  • Develop, assess and implement global compensation structures to ensure that they continue to advance Flowserve's business strategy and leverage the return on investment.

  • Analyze existing and prospective incentive programs; including sales, short-term, and long-term incentives for alignment to our pay for performance philosophy and process efficiency/improvement.

  • Design, document, and analyze total rewards programs including global mobility, vacation policies, and recognition programs.

  • Prepare advanced ad hoc analysis and recommendations on subjects such as bonus plans, sales incentives, executive compensation, and rewards programs.

  • Conduct market analysis and benchmarking studies to ensure competitive positioning.

  • Ensure the data accuracy and translate it in a clear, concise, and business-relevant manner to key stakeholders.

  • Partner with Rewards Deployment team to ensure effective and impactful roll outs of existing and new programs and tools.

  • Partner with the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) team to ensure successful delivery of incentive programs against internal data, reporting capabilities, & database administration.

  • Remain current on market trends & practices, legal or regulatory changes, labor practices, and Flowserve business and plan utilization patterns.

Position Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree and CCP preferred

  • Action oriented with high initiative and ability to think independently

  • Ability to independently design data analysis tools, effectiveness modeling, and costing models.

  • Ability to effectively translate complex information into clear and effective messages to all levels including top management

  • Extensive Excel knowledge including advanced functions

  • Ability to work in changing environment with varied dynamics

  • Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and influencing needed to work with HR and other shareholders
