BS or MS Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of Low Level/Embedded software/firmware development.
Experience architecting, designing, and implementing, analog, digital, and high-speed circuit design
Familiar with wireless systems including Bluetooth, BTLE, WiFi, LTE, etc.
Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain complex concepts and designs to colleagues across disciplines
Experience in communicating with end users, business teams and management to collect requirements, describe product features and refine technical designs
Proficient with industry standard PCB design tools
Proficiency in firmware development/programming languages (C/C++).
Experience managing vendors locally and abroad; driving fast development cycles
Experience as a technical lead designing hardware systems/products
Self-starter with a passion for product development
Problem solver with “can do” attitude
Design and development of firmware for a suite of IoT products/Sensors.
Development and documentation of all circuit and system designs, specifications, and test plans.
Own the product design from product definition to commercial product.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet specification criteria board form factor/size, power, performance, etc...

Flowserve is seeking an experienced electrical engineer to work on state of the art technology in a fast paced, R&D environment. The ideal candidate will have a well-rounded background in electronic circuit design and product development. The candidate should have expertise in circuit board design, firmware development, production-ready designs, IoT connectivity, API integrations for hardware-meets-mobile app development needs, as well as a keen awareness of how individual designs may affect our other products and systems.
This individual will be tasked with developing early prototypes to prove out sensor concepts, as well as carrying these early concepts through production-ready designs, further enabling our engineering team. This is a position for someone who has the vision, skills, and drive to bring concepts to market.
